Pigeons to be rung with officially recognized 2021 or 2022 rings ONLY.

Intake 1 October 2021 to 31 January 2022.

For every pigeon sent to the loft a fee of R400 MUST be paid the day the pigeon arrives at the loft. The activation fee of R1600 per remaining pigeon/s must be paid after the Ventersburg (210km) training flight, ALL the remaining pigeons must be activated by paying the R1600 per pigeon activation fee. If a pigeon/s from a fancier is not activated within 5 days after the Ventersburg these pigeons can be sold to a 3^rd party and all further rights and prize money of the pigeon will then go to the 3^rd party, the original entrant/breeder will forfeit any further rights to the pigeon. All non-activated pigeons will be removed from the lofts on basketing for race 1.  

The pigeons will partake in at least 5 races leading up to the final race in 2022, we will try and have a final race of about 10 hours on the wing, planned final race point will be Hanover 630km. All liberation points as well as the date of the races will be solely at management’s discretion.

Proposed race program for 2022:

The above prize money is based on 600 paid entries (500 x R2000 paid pigeons.) by 12 June 2022.

After the final race we auction all the pigeons; breeder gets 50% of net proceeds. If a pigeon is sold for less than R601 all will be offset against costs with no kickback to the breeder this rule will apply to all pigeons without a pedigree as well. No entry fees will be refunded.

Please note no pigeons previously entered in any other competition at Carnival Loft will be accepted for this event.
